PRETTY IN PINK

WELCOME TO MY very first PINK SATURDAY with fellow blogger Beverly @ How Sweet The Sound. Thanks a million for hosting this event!

PINK is one of my favorite colors aside from white and green. So, here are a few of my favorite finds...

I have three pink tea cups in my small collection and I use them all the time...

Another good find from an antique store. As far as usage, they're not worth the yen I paid for them but they're very good decorative pieces.

Blogging has inspired me again to work on tons of unfinished projects that has been tucked away in the drawer for years and years...'Ashley' is one them and the poor girl has not seen the light of day since 2002! All she needs is a TLC and a good frame and I'm working on it!

Another WIP...I still don't know what to do with them! Maybe a small blanket... that means I only need about 1000 more of them!

Although, I said "no men allowed"...this little critter seemed to lick his way in...Say "hello" to Floppy!

Welcome to Pink Saturday, Connie.

Your post is wonderful. So many pretty things. White, green and pink are favorite colors of mine, too. Also, I adore yellow.

Those salt and pepper shakers are lovely, and they look like they might be Nippon.

I can't believe the beautiful things you are making. I can't wait to see them when you finish.

I'm adding you go my favorites and you have my permission to add me to yours although I don't need to give you permission. But you style is sooOOOooooOOOO like mine and I LOVE it, honey. Okay, more blogs to answer. Let me hear from you, my sweet connie.... ;-)

I love your delicate pink flowered teacups and salt 'n pepper shakers. My mother-in-law gave me her pink flowered china, and I've passed it on to my daughter-in-law.

I had a project I started in 1977, and didn't finish until 2007! I put it away and forgot about it. It was a wall hanging called "Babies Don't Keep." I finally finished it and gave it son and d-i-l for the grandbaby's nursery! (It was meant for son's nursery, but he didn't keep - he grew up, LOL!)

Kitty's pink tongue is a delightful addition!

Is there a day for blue? I have more blue than pink things, but I don't think I have enough for more than one week.

Hey Girlfriend! I lOVE your pinkness (especially the kitty tongue). Pink is my FAVORITE color. You have inspired me to join in to the next Pink Saturday.

I am attempting to master this photo-maze without the manual -- because my hubby can't find it -- grrrrrr! He learns by fiddling with the universe (he has an einstein gene running through his DNA), but I like WORDS. I'm learning that I can see something but the camera misses the point entirely. UGH! (The Sunday Wonder pic is from my daughter's stash of beauty.) I'm not giving up, though! Thanks for encouraging me.

You're in my prayers and praises for so many reasons. What a blessing to have stumbled on a kindred spirit all the way over in RI! : )

(p.s. I'm SO looking forward to reading your meme answers.)

Hi Connie! Thanks for visiting me on my first Pink Saturday! We seem to have a lot in common. Pink and green are my favorite colors, with white of course to set them off! I also have many many unfinished projects, and love to do cross stitch. I too, have been totally inspired by all these wonderful ladies to get busy working again on my projects!

Your pink things are lovely! I especially love those beautiful tea cups!

Please visit me again! I'm still trying to figure it all out!

Thank you for visiting! Your pink items are lovely. I'm with you, blogging has made me want to finish old projects as well! Ashley is just gorgeou! Oh, you must finish her! I'm in awe of all the work you've done so far...keep going!
Love the crocheted flowers too. I recently finished a baby afghan and just stitched on similar flowers at random. It came out really cute! They would be neat just in a cluster in a corner or something, or the border. You'll come up with something.
Best,
Nikki
