ROMANTIC C-O-U-N-T-R-Y

I WENT TO CVS this past Saturday to look for a specific magazine that I could take to the beach with me. Nada. I checked out the nearby WALGREENS and was disappointed...so I just quickly grabbed a magazine cause everything about it just looked fabulous and yummy and Romantic Homes is one of my favs, anyways. While reading halfway thru it... wait a minute...THIS IS "THE MAGAZINE". Duh!

However, the most awaited subscription card is MISSING! Was yours missing also? I was thinking of going back to the store to check the rest of the mags and grab one but look what I found...

FABULOUS FIFI was kind enough to scan hers and you can print it here. So, this is a known issue. Thanks, Fifi.

If you haven't done so, grab this fab mag while you can. You'll love it.

Happy reading!

AAHHH, THE JOYS OF SUMMER, Part 1

I HAD A GREAT and eventful weekend. I hope you had one, too.

I had a very small Tea Garden Party last Saturday that I casually mentioned here. And last Sunday, a friend and I took a one-day trip to PLYMOUTH, MASSACHUSSETTS. This is going to be a two-part post, so please, check back soon.

We had an excellent weather last Saturday! Had the table set for four including myself and BF but one of the girls just couldn't make it. So, right now, I'm not talking to her... just kidding!

Concocted this Tea Fruit Punch from VICTORIA's AT TABLE with FAMILY & FRIENDS. If you wanna give this a try just click on the pic and you should be able to read the recipe. And let me know what you think.

I like it. Shall I make it again? Perhaps not. BF said I used too much peach nectar. Yes..this is very sweet... skip the sugar.

Gotta have flowers! Went overboard here... maybe just a little. Just can't have them inside. I am banned for life, lol! Almost killed one of the felines last month...darn rhododendrons! They're beautiful but beware as they're POISONOUS! Anyways, I love to add a little surprise element here and there... just like these wild raspberries... another bounty from the yard.

This... we like! This is a keeper. Oh... those toothpicks? BF doesn't care for coconuts so that side is for him.

And for the fun part... we had to shoot some bottles... yeah! See that middle bottle? I did that!

Enjoy the season, friends.

WHAT'S BLOOMING IN MY GARDEN

FIRST, THANKS TO everyone who stopped by to say "hello". It's really nice meeting you all. Come again and don't be a stranger.

The weather has been so gorgeous in Southern New England! Just perfect for gardening and grilling.

Cielo @ The House in the Roses is hosting "Show Me Your Garden Party" and I am participating.

The petunias smell soooo good and are happy in this old wheelbarrow that BF found in the trash. I love free stuff and who doesn't!

My very first potted rose...hope and pray that this beauty will come back next spring!

Check out my flickr album for more pics.

And to welcome the first day of summer, I am hosting a Tea Garden Party tomorrow for 2 of my co-workers. That's for another post.

Have a great weekend all!
