AAHHH, THE JOYS OF SUMMER, Part 1

I HAD A GREAT and eventful weekend. I hope you had one, too.

I had a very small Tea Garden Party last Saturday that I casually mentioned here. And last Sunday, a friend and I took a one-day trip to PLYMOUTH, MASSACHUSSETTS. This is going to be a two-part post, so please, check back soon.

We had an excellent weather last Saturday! Had the table set for four including myself and BF but one of the girls just couldn't make it. So, right now, I'm not talking to her... just kidding!

Concocted this Tea Fruit Punch from VICTORIA's AT TABLE with FAMILY & FRIENDS. If you wanna give this a try just click on the pic and you should be able to read the recipe. And let me know what you think.

I like it. Shall I make it again? Perhaps not. BF said I used too much peach nectar. Yes..this is very sweet... skip the sugar.

Gotta have flowers! Went overboard here... maybe just a little. Just can't have them inside. I am banned for life, lol! Almost killed one of the felines last month...darn rhododendrons! They're beautiful but beware as they're POISONOUS! Anyways, I love to add a little surprise element here and there... just like these wild raspberries... another bounty from the yard.

This... we like! This is a keeper. Oh... those toothpicks? BF doesn't care for coconuts so that side is for him.

And for the fun part... we had to shoot some bottles... yeah! See that middle bottle? I did that!

Enjoy the season, friends.

That fruit tea looks pretty and delicious; I'll have to try making it sometime.

The cake looks yummy, and I would not have noticed the toothpicks. I had to look for them! My hubby doesn't like coconut, either.

The raspberries with the hydrangeas are a lovely combination!

I like any drink with peach in it. Oh, and I have a cat that eats every live plant (including lettuce) that I dare to bring in the house. So I have to leave them all outside. She pukes enough as it is with a digestive condition!
