PINK IS PERFECT

WELCOME AND THANKS for stopping by on my 3rd PINK SATURDAY. And please, don't forget to visit our lovely host Beverly @ How Sweet the Sound.

Today I'll be showing you two of my (new) favorite things... photography and teacups...in PINK, of course!

One of the kitties broke the handle of this teacup! I hate to throw this away so I found another use for it. Works great as a vase for small arrangements like this...

A new addition to my pink teacup collection. Every May, I host a tea party along with other ladies @ the church. And next spring, I am planning to have a pink tea party with mismatched tea sets.

Kitty strikes again! There's a long crack right next to the handle on this one. I should have learned my lesson by now o^-^o...

The following are spring blooms from my garden using Canon A720IS. If you're on a budget but do not want to sacrifice quality... this is 'the camera'.

Comte de Chambord....it has strong, damask fragrance.

Spirea 'goldmound'...

Unknown variety...

Have a nice PINK SATURDAY everyone!

We are kindreds! I have teacups and flowers, too (and something else in common, but you'll have to come visit to find out -- hee hee). I just love damask roses -- the fragrance!!! Amazing! You are so clever to find such great uses for the broken/cracked beauties. I keep all the broken bits of china hoping someday to create gorgeous mosaics. Well, I peeked EARLY and I'm so glad I did! Pretty and pink, as usual. : )

I like your tea cups. They look particularly pretty with the flowers in them. Speaking of flowers you photography are quite lovely!

Thanks for you visits to my blog! Yes, the Cape is very crazy this time of year, especially the last few days with the bad weather we've been having.

Happy Pink Saturday!

take care,
Dawn

Happy Pink Saturday, Connie. I am having so much fun out visiting everyone's pink.

You made me smile telling about your kitty. I guess you will have to hide your pretty cups.

The photos of your blooms are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Lovely teacups, and equally lovely flowers! We love our kitties, and they're curious folk, so we just have to put up with little cracks in our teacups!

Connie, I just love your pink tea cups. What a great idea--to use all different types of pink cups and saucers at an upcoming tea party. You will need to take lots of photos of that event and share it on a Pink Saturday! I know all about those little tricky kitties and how hard they can be on breakables!!

All your pink things look sooooo pretty. And I love your curbside find and makeover. It's gorgeous. I did the same thing with a chest of drawers that I found and paid $10.00 for. I did a make-over on it but the crystal knobs cost a small fortune. LOL...but I love it.
