SIMPLE PLEASURES FRIDAY

To market, to market, to buy a fat pig...

NOTHING BEATS A summer good eat than fresh-from-the-farm produce found at a local market!


Home again, home again, jiggity jig...

Grilled chicken kabobs marinated in soy sauce (that's how I like it) and lots of lemon juice...

I sure enjoy looking at those wonderful ears of corn! When I was a kid my grandmothers had tall cornstalks and I remember hiding between the rows. The sun would be hidden by the tall stalks. I was in my own darkened, little world!
