WE ARE NOW on our third day of excitement at Fatima Hospital. Joe's appendix is GONE! The surgery went well and he's able to get a solid rest for 5 hours while he was at the recovery room. The surgeon came out to see me after the surgery but we missed each other. At this time, we don't know when he's going to be discharged.
Thanks a million to all your wonderful and warm well wishes and prayers for Joe's surgery. It really amazes me how nice all of you to us even though we haven't met in person!

Oh praise the Lord! Get a pot of soup cookin' and get ready for some sweet precious time with Joey. He looks darling in the pic (so glad I have a face to go with all the prayers).
Thanks for taking the time to update amidst all of this medical "stuff." Prayers continue unceasingly. God is good!

I'm so glad it was "only" his appendix, and that they diagnosed and got it out so quickly! I hope he has an easy recovery. Thanks for your update.
