The tools of the trade that you're going to need...

A few vintage finds collected through the years are now coming handy...

Odd items from old potpourris are great for this project. Sky's the limit!

For my base, I started with a feather pick and a dowel wrapped in old cotton ribbon. Now that I'm looking at the finished project...I should have ditched the dowel and opted for a cute nest. What was I thinking?

Now that the birdie is in position... just add whatever embellishments you have on hands.

And voila! Have a great weekend everyone!

Connie it is adorable. I hope things are going better and that you have a wonderful weekend.
Well that is just beautiful! I am feeling in the "fall" mood myself. It was very warm here yesterday, but today should be considerably cooler. I think some time at the craft table is needed!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Chris
Haven't heard of tussie-mussies before but now thanks to you, now i do. :)
Me and hubby are going to Michael's this afternoon, it's newly opened so we'll go and look around.
Have a long weekend, Connie!
I found you from Miss Heather's blog.
Isn't it fun to share creative ideas.
I think your own personal touches made a nice tussie!
Have a *SWEET* Day!
