AFTERNOON TEA PARTY

My copper kettle
whistles merrily
and signals that
it is time for tea.

The fine china cups
are filled with the brew.
There's lemon and sugar
and sweet cream, too.

But, best of all
there's friendship, between you and me.
As we lovingly share
our afternoon tea.
- Marianna Arolin

Thanks to Jan @ Jan & Tom's Place for hosting this tea party. Please visit out lovely hostess for a complete list of all participants.

What a pretty confection of a post. I'm glad I popped in before I headed out for a very FULL day. I am refreshed in both eye and heart. Lovely photos! (I had a twinge of fr-envy over that stunning teapot, but then realized it is a borrowed photo -- that's my dream silver teapot. What a beauty!)

Always a delight to come visit you, my precious friend.

Bye for now ~~ I'm off to an Italian lunch reunion with some family we haven't seen for years! Should be fun! ; )

I didn't really do anything special to make my link list open in different windows. I went to customize; add a page element; clicked on the one called Link List; hit add to blog and put all my links in there.
