Radiation Day @ Dana Farber, BOSTON, MA - April 15, 2008

PLEASE PRAY OR light candles for Joey that his remaining days would be nothing but COMFORTABLE ones. To this day, the poor guy just couldn't get comfy, no matter what! Dana Farber declared him cleared from esophageal cancer in June and unfortunately, in July the cancer spread through his stomach.

It breaks my heart tremendously that this 43 year old guy who never smokes nor drinks would die from this horrible disease.

Just hang in there, BIG GUY!

Oh sweetie, I'm so very sorry. I think about you two a lot. I wish I could think of something to ease your pain and his suffering. I have to get scoped every year for a precancerous condition that could lead to that very thing.
xoxo, Brenda

I don't even know Joey, and it breaks my heart to know that he has to go through such a terrible situation. No matter what, I hope that HE and YOU both know you are loved...every inch of you. Please, please let me know if there is anything I can do. I mean that.

(((((Connie))))), I have you and Joe both on my prayer list. I'm praying for strength and comfort for you both, and for Joe to be able to rest and be comfortable.

I wish I had words to express how sorry I am that you both have to go through this.

I hate cancer.

My precious friend,

Prayers continue without ceasing for you and Joe. Comfort, comfort, and more comfort wished your way. It has blessed me so to "know" your beauty and bravery, and love in the face of this walk of love with Joe.

I send my love to both of you wrapped in prayers for joy in the littlest of things as you share the greatest of these ... LOVE.

My dear Connie,
Stop by to check on you and I read the news that Joe is worse.
What can I say to you to ease your suffering . Nothing really,
just offer you and Joe my prayers. I know God is with both of you ,we sometime can’t understand why thing happen, specially at such an early age. But not our will but His.
God Bless, Virginia

The Comforter has come. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
